Sired by Prinz Habicht, Prinz Habicht is registered with the American Trakehner Association and is also approved for breeding with Oldenburg Verbrand, Canadian Warmblood, American Trakehner Association and Canadian Sport Horse.
Prinz Habicht completed performance requirements while showing in Prix St. George dressage with an amateur rider (including a Reserve Champion placing at the 2002 National Dressage Championships in Medium 2 Amateur division) and he passes his talent onto all of his offspring. As a silver premium stallion with CSHA, Prinz Habicht has a fantastic breeding record on top of being a top performer!
Prinz Habicht *Ps* was sired by the imported German Trakehner stallion Carino *E*. Carino was the 2000 stallion of the year with the Canadian Sport Horse Association, as well as being an Elite Stallion in 2004 with German Trakehner Association for his suitability and that of his offspring in dressage and jumping. He carries the blood of the Irrlehrer Stallion line including Intermezzo.
Prinz Habicht *Ps* is by the mare Palma Nigra *E* who was imported from Germany in 1986. Palma Nigra is by the successful stallion Habicht who was Champion at his performance test in Germany and a successful three-day event horse. Her dam Pr. St. Passarge II was the 1989 German National Trakehner Association Champion carrying on the success of her dam E. St. Palma who was the German National Trakehner Association and a member of the Pelargonie mare family.
Palma Nigra’s grandsire Insterruf was the Reserve German National Champion as well. She is the half sister to the U.S. Olympic Jumper Livius and Olympic bronze medal eventer Windfall.
